Dengue adé

What is loud, smokey and smells? No, it is not a Caucasian after eating Indian food for the first time in his life. (And I'm not referring to me!!!! Haha)
It is the Singapore mosquito busters! They come by every other week and smoke the hell out of this place which smells like burnt car tires. Since dengue fever is pretty much one of the worst sicknesses here, the government tries everything to work against it. Thus, you can see a lot of anti dengue advertisement all around the city. The shot here I took in the MRT. It looks scary.
The first few days and weeks I slept badly and felt paranoid. But now I do not care so much about it anymore, even though I get many mosquito bites.. Funny enough the majority also does not seem to care much about it. There is, e.g. no one here that has a mosquito net and not many people use repellants. I eventually bought a small thing you plug into the electrical outlet and which releases some liquid into the air. Don't think that helps much but at least it gives me a better conscience. Haha..
